‘Take That Waltz’ tells the tale of Margot  Lou and Daniel . Margot is happily married to Lou for five years till she gets carried over by Daniel, who is a free-spirited artist and lives in the same neighborhood. Wait, it is not the typical love- triangle Hollywood flick. In fact, the story has a different type of texture to it. We have seen many such love stories in the past in which people in unhappy marriages seek love out of their marriage, but, this story is told in a way we have never seen before.The difference lies in the fact that Lou and Margot are not going through a difficult marriage. Lou, is sweet, gentle and a gem of a husband. Margot doesn’t want to be unfaithful to him but her recent encounters with Daniel have instilled a sense of excitement in her life and she can’t help herself from being smitten by him. The confused feelings of Margot have been portrayed with such beauty and realism that the audiences never witness her as a villain. Nor does the audience breed contempt for her unfaithfulness to her loving husband. Margot is romantic, sad and confused at the same time. Margot is just swaying away from the ordinariness of her marriage and hence, is drawn towards Daniel. She, at times try to restrain herself but has no control over her heart which deep down is unsatisfied by the lost luster of her relationship with her husband. She is a girl who believes in living life to the fullest and hence it is boredom of her daily life is what leads to her dissatisfaction.Michelle Williams’ portrayal of Margot is perfect and the acting is astonishing. Rogen and Kirby, both are portrayed as shallow characters as they are shown from Margot’s perspective but both the actors did justice to what was given to them. Rogen’s emotional outburst in the climax scene is splendid.  It’s a movie that you will carry in your heart and think for a while. The climax will leave you wondering.
